Dechang County of Liangshan launches a special action to crack down on environmental crimes related to waste lead storage batteries.

SMM: recently, in order to further standardize the management of waste lead-acid batteries in Dechang County, Sichuan Province, Liangshan Dechang County formulated the "Special Action Plan for severely cracking down on environmental violations and crimes related to waste lead-acid batteries in Dechang County" and carried out a special inspection to severely crack down on environmental violations of waste lead-acid batteries.

In August 2020, Dechang County organized various townships and street offices throughout the county to conduct a survey of waste lead battery production units in the area under their jurisdiction. In early September 2020, Dechang Ecological Environment Bureau took the lead in organizing the county public security, transportation, commerce, market supervision and other departments to carry out a special action to crack down on environmental violations and crimes of waste lead storage batteries.
