SHANGHAI, Sep 11 (SMM) – Operating rates across lead-acid battery producers in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hubei and Hebei provinces averaged 72.52% in the week ended September 11, unchanged from the previous week, an SMM survey showed.
Orders sold to distributors decreased as they became cautious about purchasing as lead prices declined, while those sold to e-bike manufacturers rose as non-standard e-bikes in some regions were eliminated.
Meanwhile, orders at communications battery producers increased, with some of them operating at full capacity.
