From January to July, the electricity consumption of Inner Mongolia was 220.27 billion kWh, an increase of 6.3% over the same period last year.

[from January to July, the electricity consumption of the whole society in Inner Mongolia increased by 6.3% over the same period last year.] according to the data released by the Inner Mongolia Autonomous region Bureau of Statistics, from January to July this year, the electricity consumption of the whole society in Inner Mongolia Autonomous region was 220.27 billion kWh, an increase of 6.3% over the same period last year. The growth rate is 0.7 percentage points higher than that in January-June.

SMM: according to data released by the Inner Mongolia Autonomous region Bureau of Statistics, from January to July this year, the electricity consumption of the whole society in Inner Mongolia Autonomous region was 220.27 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 6.3 percent over the same period last year, or 0.7 percent higher than that in January-June.

According to industry, from January to July, the electricity consumption of the primary industry in Inner Mongolia increased by 21.9% compared with the same period last year; the electricity consumption of the secondary industry increased by 6.2%; the electricity consumption of the tertiary industry increased by 4.5%; and the electricity consumption of residents increased by 10.3%. Broken down, industrial electricity consumption increased by 6.2 per cent year-on-year, while manufacturing electricity consumption increased by 7.0 per cent year-on-year.

From other indicators of economic activity, compared with January-June this year, from January to July, the decline of freight volume in Inner Mongolia Autonomous region narrowed by 2.0 percentage points; the decline of cargo turnover narrowed by 1.3 percentage points; the decline of passenger volume narrowed by 2.4 percentage points; the decline of passenger turnover narrowed by 1.0 percentage points. The logistics industry climate index maintained a steady rebound, the upper and lower reaches of the supply chain remained active, and the development momentum of production activities in the logistics industry improved. In July, the logistics industry climate index in Inner Mongolia was 52.5%, an increase of 0.3 percentage points over June.
