It is reported that the 6GW module project has a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan and plans to build 16 high-efficiency solar module production lines, which will be implemented in two phases.

It is reported that the 6GW module project has a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan and plans to build 16 high-efficiency solar module production lines, which will be implemented in two phases.

Ates' annual 6GW photovoltaic module project was signed and settled in Dafeng in May 2017. the first phase of the project started construction in January 2018, put into production in August of that year, and the first batch of goods were exported through Dafeng Port in September. In 2019, invoice sales exceeded 2 billion yuan and exports reached 270 million US dollars. The seventh and eighth production lines of the first phase will be full production in October this year.

The second phase of Ates 6GW photovoltaic module project is expected to break through 4GW after delivery. After the completion of the second phase of the project, Dafeng Ates will have the annual production capacity of 7GW high-efficiency photovoltaic modules, with an annual output value of more than 10 billion yuan.

According to Ates' previous financial results in 2019, as of December 31, 2019, the production capacity of Ates ingots, wafers, batteries and components had reached 1850 megawatts, 5000 megawatts, 9600 megawatts and 13040 megawatts, respectively. The company will continue to adjust its capacity expansion plan according to market conditions, and it is estimated that the company's component capacity will reach 16050 megawatts by the end of 2020.
