Ore handling capacity of Ministro Hales mine increases greatly from Codelco:5 to July

SMM9, March 8: according to Codelco's website, its mine Ministro Hales processed 2530 tons of raw ore per hour from May to July, an increase of 23 percent over the 2060 tons per hour in the first four months of this year.

In the past three months, the mine has been able to process 57000 tons per day, which has reached the expected level of 2021, and the daily ore processing capacity from January to April this year is only 46000 tons.

It is reported that in July this year, Codelco copper production totaled 133300 tons, a slight increase from the previous month, and copper production in June was 131900 tons. Among them, Ministro Hales,Chuquicamata and Radomiro Tomic mines produced a total of 67100 tons of copper in July, an increase of 1200 tons compared with the previous month.

The Salvador mine produced 46000 tons of copper in July, up 12 percent from the previous month, and 41000 tons in June.
