Silicon social inventories dipped 1,000 on week on fewer arrivals at Tianjin port

Social inventories of silicon metal in China edged lower this week as stocks at Tianjin port declined.

SHANGHAI, Sep 4 (SMM) – Social inventories of silicon metal in China edged lower this week as stocks at Tianjin port declined. 


SMM data showed that stocks across Huangpu port, Kunming city and Tianjin port stood at 63,000 mt as of Friday September 4, 1,000 mt lower from a week ago


Fewer shipments from Xinjiang lowered stocks at Tianjin port even as local pandemic-driven restrictions eased.
