Sales of Yuexiu Real Estate increased by 51.65 billion in August compared with the same period last year.

SMM: September 3, Yuexiu Real Estate Co., Ltd. announced that from January to August 2020, the company's cumulative contract sales amount was about 51.657 billion yuan, up about 17% from the same period last year, and the cumulative contract sales area was about 2.089 million square meters, up about 3% from the same period last year. The cumulative contract sales amount accounts for 64% of the contract sales target of 80.2 billion yuan in 2020.

In August 2020, the amount of contract sales realized by the company (together with the contract sales of joint venture projects) was about 7.657 billion yuan, an increase of about 132% over the same period last year, and the contract sales area was about 307100 square meters, an increase of about 69% over the same period last year.

In terms of land acquisition, Yuexiu Real Estate acquired 95.48 per cent of the actual interest in a piece of land in Guangzhou through auction in August, and the land price representing the company's actual rights and interests is about 1.204 billion yuan. The site is located in the Wanbo plate of Nancun, Panyu, Guangzhou, with a total construction area of 181547 square meters and is planned for residential and commercial use.

In addition, the company has obtained 9.50% of the actual rights and interests of a piece of land in Foshan through cooperation, and the land price representing the actual rights and interests of the company is about 191 million yuan. The site is located in Shishan Town, Nanhai, Foshan, with a total construction area of 227500 square meters and is planned for residential use.
