2020 is an extraordinary year, since the beginning of the year, the epidemic swept the world, various industries shut down and fight "epidemic". From the first to the second quarter of 2020, China and even the whole world are in a state of gradually restarting the economy. Against this background, will the newly expanded capacity of recycled lead be released as scheduled this year? What are the changes in the supply and demand environment of the lead market, and where are the bright spots in the market in the third and fourth quarters?

To this end, we have invited industry partners to attend the 2020 10th Rechargeable lead Battery Industry Summit to be held in October of golden autumn. A large number of enterprises have been actively involved in the invitation letter. We look forward to gathering in Fuyang in the golden autumn. A connecting link between the preceding and the next, open a new chapter in the recycled lead industry! Next, let's take a look at the spoiler wave ahead of time. Pre-holiday stockpiling by downstream enterprises had largely concluded, and a few had already entered the holiday period, completely suspending procurement. Next week, secondary lead smelters will enter a concentrated wave of production halts and holidays, resulting in sluggish trading activity in the spot market. Offers for spot refined lead orders were sparse, with prices moving in line with the market.

Sluggish Transactions in Domestic Secondary Crude Lead Market, Prices at 15,250-15,400 Yuan/mt
The domestic secondary crude lead market experienced sluggish transactions. As of February 6, 2026, the ex-factory tax-exclusive offers for domestic secondary crude lead stood at 15,250-15,400 yuan/mt. Downstream refined lead and alloy smelters gradually entered the holiday period, showing weak stockpiling willingness. Overseas lead ingot suppliers basically halted transactions with China due to poor consumption in the Chinese market, with only some previously concluded shipments maintaining normal in-transit transportation. The trading atmosphere in the secondary crude lead market will continue to weaken next week.
