SMM: on the afternoon of August 23rd, the initial dam of the Noma Nonggou tailings Reservoir of the Yulong Copper Mine Reconstruction and expansion Project, which lasted for 509 days, was successfully capped, marking the resolution of the "bottleneck" problem restricting the progress of the project, and taking a solid step for the timely commissioning of the Yulong Copper Mine Reconstruction and expansion Project.
The initial dam construction of Nuomalonggou tailing reservoir can be divided into groundwater diversion layer construction and dam body filling. Four groundwater diversion pipes are arranged at the bottom of the dam, and a gravel guide layer is laid at the upper part of the dam. Two seepage collection pipes are arranged horizontally at the elevation of 4372m, and four seepage pipes are arranged longitudinally. The length and width of the bottom of the dam is 498m and 110m, the height of the dam is 96m, the length and width of the top of the dam is 537m and 5m, and the total amount of dam construction is as high as 6.1 million m.
In the face of difficulties, all the personnel of the headquarters of the reconstruction and expansion project of Yulong Copper Mine met the difficulties, and all the construction personnel of the Nomalonggou tailing Reservoir project gathered their efforts and worked closely together to formulate corresponding construction measures according to the actual situation on the spot, make concerted efforts to contribute to the initial dam construction, coordinate and solve problems in a timely manner, and ensure that "things are done every day" and "problems are not overnight". With the active cooperation and joint efforts of all parties, the number of transport vehicles has been increased to 98. At the same time, in order to ensure a sufficient supply of materials, three more quarrying sites have been added, and 24-hour dam construction has been carried out, with a daily dam capacity of 20000m. The above ensures the smooth closure of the dam at the initial stage of the Nuomalonggou tailings and lays a solid foundation for the trial production of the reconstruction and expansion project on schedule.
