Up to now, there are more than 800 5G + industrial Internet projects in China, and the number is expected to reach 1500 by the end of the year. Among them, 5G + intelligent mine is one of the most typical application scenarios, and it is also one of the most effective scenarios. 5G and the industrial Internet have ushered in an unprecedented period of innovation activity, strategic window period and key development period, and the Information and Communications Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will fully support the development.

Peng Qiming said that at present, key emerging technologies, including big data, artificial intelligence, robots, the Internet of things and self-driving vehicles, are subverting or about to subvert the development of all industries, including the mining industry. Digital technology has been applied in many mines and is gradually changing the mode of production in mines. The successful transformation of mining enterprises is not only to adopt the latest applications and technologies, but also to integrate digital and innovative ideas into their business strategies to achieve high-quality development.

He pointed out that at present, foreign enterprises have launched the "Future Mine" program, which aims to reduce the environmental impact and further improve safety while collecting minerals from the depths of the earth. Intelligent technology is becoming the support of the construction of "future mines" and is concerned by more and more mining enterprises all over the world. In the past hundred years, the problem of mine safety is a huge global challenge, and it also has a serious negative impact on the social image of the mining industry. To fundamentally solve the problem of mine safety through intelligence is the only way for the development of the global mining industry.
