Ningbo: the development trend of rare earth magnetic material industry cluster is obvious.

SMM News: in 2019, there were 67 rare earth magnetic materials enterprises in Ningbo City, with a total output of about 70, 000 tons, achieving a total industrial output value of 13.425 billion yuan, an increase of 15.70 percent over the same period last year, and export delivery value of 2.677 billion yuan, down 8.93 percent from the same period last year. The average R & D investment ratio of enterprises continued to grow, reaching 3.02%.

According to the person in charge of Ningbo Economic and Information Bureau, the development trend of Ningbo rare earth magnetic material industry cluster is becoming more and more obvious.

According to the China rare Earth Industry Association, the total output of rare earth magnetic materials in 2019 was about 180000 tons, and Ningbo contributed about 38.9% of the total production of rare earth permanent magnet materials. Ningbo Ninggang is the first samarium cobalt permanent magnet material manufacturer in the world, accounting for 26.8% of the domestic output and 18.8% of the global output.

From the perspective of the spatial distribution in Ningbo, the trend of regional concentration is obvious. it is mainly distributed in Cixi City, Beilun District, Yinzhou District and Haishu District. In 2019, the total industrial output value of rare earth magnetic materials in the above four regions accounted for 31.4%, 24.7%, 15.4% and 10.7%, respectively, accounting for 82.1%. Among the four agglomeration areas, Cixi City mainly concentrated new cerium magnet materials for recovery energy, Beilun District concentrated old NdFeB enterprises such as Koningda, Yinzhou District concentrated Yunsheng's high-quality sintered NdFeB and Ninggang's samarium cobalt permanent magnet materials, and Haishu District concentrated new rare earth permanent magnet materials such as Jinji's hot-pressed radiation ring.

"at the same time, industrial projects have been steadily advanced and their innovation capability has been continuously enhanced." The relevant responsible person of Ningbo Economic and Information Bureau further introduced that since last year, new investment projects in Ningbo rare earth magnetic materials industry have been landed one after another, key industrial projects have been steadily implemented, and innovation capability has been continuously enhanced.

Notice of meeting
