SHANGHAI, August 14 (SMM) – Operating rates across lead-acid battery producers in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hubei and Hebei provinces steadied on week at 72.1% in the week ended August 14.
Orders at lead-acid battery makers were moderate in a traditional high season. E-bike battery makers raised selling prices twice since the beginning of August.
Most of the large and medium-scale battery makers kept operating rates above 80% and some operated at full capacity in August.
