Iron ore exports from Brazil stood at 34 million mt in July, basically flat from the same period last year, recording a new high in 2020, data from the Secretariat of Foreign Trade (SECEX) showed.

SHANGHAI, Aug 4 (SMM) — Iron ore exports from Brazil stood at 34 million mt in July, basically flat from the same period last year, recording a new high in 2020, data from the Secretariat of Foreign Trade (SECEX) showed.

Market participants concerned that Covid-19 in Brazil may affect iron ore supply as the country is second only to the US in the number of coronavirus cases and deaths.
