Aluminum futures is still strong and there is still a big discount on spot transactions.

SMM, July 30th:

Before noon, the mainstream spot transaction price of aluminum ingots in South China was 14890-14950 yuan / ton, and the discount from South China to East China was about 50 yuan / ton, slightly smaller than yesterday. Yesterday afternoon market spot quotation price for Shanghai Aluminum 2008 contract discount 0-40 yuan / ton, the basis is weak adjustment. Aluminum first rose and then fell in early trading, the market reported high and low, the transaction price was 20-30 yuan / ton lower than the quoted price, and the price difference between the current month and next month was 10 yuan / ton. Tianshan, Baikuang, Hope, Yinhai, Yunaluminum and other common aluminum prices ranged from 0 to 40 yuan / ton. The second period of aluminum concussion fell, spot prices fell synchronously, the discount range expanded, there was no rising water transaction, the spot common aluminum discount to the net price was 20-60 yuan / ton, there were a small number of lower price sources. The spot discount to Shanghai Aluminum 2008 contract is 0-60 yuan / ton, the basis becomes negative, the actual transaction price difference between Guangdong and Shanghai is 60-90 yuan / ton, and the low-iron aluminum ingots, including domestic and imported aluminum ingots, are 10-40 yuan / ton higher than general aluminum ingots. Rusal and other imported ordinary aluminum ingots are more than 100 yuan / ton cheaper than domestic aluminum ingots.
