Tangshan Emergency Management Bureau closely combines the local reality and vigorously carries out the investigation and treatment of eight key accidents in production safety in iron and steel enterprises. First, education and training should be carried out in an all-round way. Immediately after the national training conference on April 29, a special meeting was held to organize experts to retrain and implement the eight key issues for 219 supervisors and supervisors of the city's iron and steel industry and relevant responsible persons of enterprises. Enterprises are required to include eight key issues of education and training in their annual education and training plans and carry out in-depth study at different levels.

The notice of Hebei Provincial Department of Emergency Management on carrying out special law enforcement inspection in iron and steel, dust and aluminum processing enterprises throughout the province was forwarded, urging enterprises to carry out in-depth self-inspection and self-improvement. As of July 20, the city's iron and steel enterprises have investigated a total of 63 major hidden dangers, all of which have completed rectification and reform. A total of 3 resting places were dismantled, 12 fixed gas alarms were added, 2 hot repair platforms were removed, 26 accident overflow facilities were improved, 18 scattered purging facilities were added, 2 lifting mechanism parts were tested, and 7.8 million yuan of rectification funds were invested, all of which were completed. Third, strict law enforcement to ensure effectiveness. The emergency management departments at the city and county levels organize experts to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the hidden dangers related to the eight key items in strict accordance with the "trinity" law enforcement inspection mode of the Law Enforcement Bureau of the Emergency Management Department. Since May, regulatory departments at the city and county levels have inspected a total of 43 iron and steel enterprises and found 12 hidden dangers involving eight key issues, all of which have completed rectification and reform, imposed administrative penalties of 819000 yuan, and punished 18 people responsible for the enterprises.
