The production of Ningxia iron and steel industry achieved rapid growth in the first half of 2020.

Jianlong Longxiang Iron and Steel has vigorously implemented the mending chain project, focusing on the construction of three-phase upgrading projects such as double high-speed lines, which will become the largest iron and steel production enterprise in Ningxia after completion. Xinghua Iron and Steel strives to build a new modern steelmaking process and actively build iron and steel capacity replacement and upgrading projects. The 600000-ton high-speed wire rod project built by Ningxia Iron and Steel takes the lead in carrying out steel forming and deep processing in the whole region, and the 1580m3 blast furnace project under construction grabs the construction schedule to ensure that it is put into production as scheduled. The iron and steel industry in the region has realized the whole industry chain of ironmaking-steelmaking-rolling-steel bar forming and processing.

In the first half of 2020, the total industrial output value of three iron and steel enterprises in our region reached 6.44 billion yuan, an increase of 41.7% over the same period last year. The output of products reached a new high, with crude steel output of 1.785 million tons, an increase of 37.5% over the same period last year, and steel output of 1.908 million tons, an increase of 44.5% over the same period last year, which was 41.8% higher than the national growth rate.
