MMG second quarter lead concentrate output decreased 9% year on year Zinc concentrate production increased 6% year on year

SMM7 March 29: recently, MMG released its second-quarter results. During the reporting period, zinc concentrate production in the second quarter was 60100 tons, an increase of 6 per cent over the same period last year, while lead concentrate production was 10700 tons, down 9 per cent from the same period last year. Zinc concentrate production in the first half of 2020 was 113000 tons, down 1 per cent from the same period last year, while lead concentrate production was 20600 tons, down 9 per cent from the same period last year.

Due to the continuing uncertainty of the epidemic, MMG estimates that the output of zinc concentrate in Dugald River mine will be 17-180000 tons in 2020, and that in Rosebery mine will be 5.5-65000 tons.
