SMM: according to the news from the Department of Ecological Environment of Shanxi Province on July 22nd, according to the level of green development, investment in pollution control, control effectiveness, and environmental credit, Shanxi Province will grade enterprises at A, B, C and D levels, implement performance grading, and implement differential emergency emission reduction measures in heavily polluted weather according to the classification situation. This means that enterprises with a high level of green development, large investment in pollution control, good control results and high environmental credit can produce normally in heavily polluted weather.

The "selection" involves 39 key industries, such as coking, lime kiln, foundry and so on. In each industry, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment classifies related enterprises through differentiation indicators such as equipment level, energy type, pollution control technology, emission limit, unorganized emission, monitoring and monitoring level, environmental management level, transport mode, transport supervision and so on. It is understood that the Provincial Department of Ecological Environment reviewed the A-and B-level enterprises reported by various cities, reported the A-level enterprise declaration materials to the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, identified the B-level enterprises and disclosed them to the public. Class An enterprises shall be approved by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment.

Shanxi Province has implemented performance grading and dynamic management for enterprises in 39 key industries. According to the situation of benchmarking and transformation, the enterprise may apply for change in the performance classification every year. If no application for change is made, it shall be carried out according to the original level in the next year. According to the newly revised "Shanxi Provincial heavy pollution Weather Emergency Plan", during the period of heavy pollution weather in Shanxi Province, enterprises in key industries are subject to graded and classified control, and for enterprises that reach the A-level performance rating standard of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, in principle, it is not mandatory to take production suspension or production restriction measures; for enterprises that meet the B-level standards, they will reduce the adoption of production suspension or production restriction measures.
