Health Commission: 101 new confirmed cases, 98 local cases

SMM: from 0 to 24:00 on July 28, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps reported 101 new confirmed cases, including 3 imported cases from abroad (2 in Guangdong, 1 in Shanghai) and 98 local cases (89 in Xinjiang, 8 in Liaoning and 1 in Beijing). There were no new deaths and no new suspected cases.

On the same day, 10 new cases were cured and discharged from hospital, 325 were in close contact with medical observation, and 5 severe cases were increased compared with the previous day.

There are 79 confirmed cases (including 2 severe cases) and 1 suspected case imported from abroad. A total of 2056 cases were confirmed, 1977 cases were cured and discharged, and there were no deaths.

As of 24:00 on July 28th, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang production and Construction Corps, there were 482 confirmed cases (including 25 severe cases), a total of 78944 cured and discharged cases, and a cumulative death of 4634 cases. a total of 84060 confirmed cases and 1 suspected case have been reported. A total of 783053 close contacts were tracked and 15034 were still under medical observation.

31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps reported 27 new asymptomatic infections (8 imported from abroad), 51 confirmed cases on the same day (no overseas imports), 9 released from medical observation (5 imported from abroad), and 273 asymptomatic infections under medical observation (91 imported from abroad).

A total of 3397 confirmed cases have been reported from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Among them, 2884 cases were discharged from the Hong Kong Special Administrative region (1527 cases were discharged and 23 died), 46 cases were discharged from the Macao Special Administrative region (46 cases were discharged) and 467 cases were discharged from Taiwan (440 cases were discharged and 7 cases died).
