SHANGHAI, Jul 24 (SMM) – A silicon producer in Northwest China has resumed production recently, after a year-long suspension, SMM learned.
The producer, called Jingxin Silicon Industry, now has two furnaces running and will ramp up to full capacity, lifting its monthly output to 6,000 mt.
The producer suspended production in August 2019 after running out of carbon emission allowances.
