[SMM Evening Review] Summary of the transaction in the original lead market on July 17th

SMM7 March 17:

In Guangdong, the mainstream price of lead reduction today is 13300 Mel 13400 yuan / ton. A refinery today reduced lead (excluding tax) quotation at 13400 yuan / ton to the factory, recycled refined lead (including tax) to the SMM1# lead price discount of 50 million yuan / ton leaving the factory, recycled refined lead discount shrank.

In Anhui region, the mainstream price of lead reduction today is 13350 RMB13450 / ton. A refinery today quoted reduced lead (excluding tax) at 13350 yuan / ton to the factory, recycled refined lead (excluding tax) quoted price of 13700 yuan / ton, the price of recycled lead dropped sharply with the lead price.

The mainstream quotation for lead reduction in Hebei today is 13350 Mel 13500 yuan / ton. A refinery today reduced lead (excluding tax) quoted at 13400 yuan / ton to the factory, recycled refined lead (including tax) to the SMM1# lead price discount 50 Mel 100 yuan / ton out of the factory.

The mainstream quotation for lead reduction in Jiangxi today is 13350 Mel 13450 yuan / ton. Today, the price of reduced lead (excluding tax) in a certain refinery is 13500 yuan / ton, and the price of recycled refined lead (including tax) is discounted to SMM1# lead at a discount of 300 yuan / ton, and the profit of the recycled lead smelter is meagre.

The domestic secondary crude lead market experienced sluggish transactions. As of February 6, 2026, the ex-factory tax-exclusive offers for domestic secondary crude lead stood at 15,250-15,400 yuan/mt. Downstream refined lead and alloy smelters gradually entered the holiday period, showing weak stockpiling willingness. Overseas lead ingot suppliers basically halted transactions with China due to poor consumption in the Chinese market, with only some previously concluded shipments maintaining normal in-transit transportation. The trading atmosphere in the secondary crude lead market will continue to weaken next week.
