SMM7 March 17: the smelter of the, MCC Saindak project resumed production on July 9th. After about 10 months of shutdown, MCC's Saindak Project smelter has resumed work and produced its first batch of crude copper this week.

The Saindak copper smelter had stopped production since November 2019 due to the Xinguan epidemic and the factory's winter vacation.

The Saindak project manager says smelting is a core part of the project. The first batch of crude copper produced means that the Saindak project has restored complete mineral processing, mining and smelting processes while preventing and controlling epidemics.

(MCC Group) of China Metallurgical Group is the longest-running construction force in China's iron and steel industry, and is a pioneer and main force in this field.

Saindak Copper and Gold Mine in Pakistan is located near the town of Saindak in Balochistan. It is estimated that the ore reserves of the mine are 412 million tons.
