SMM: the website of the Ministry of Finance released on the 8th the issuance of local government bonds and the debt balance in June 2020.

In June 2020, 286.7 billion yuan of local government bonds were issued nationwide. Of this total, 169.1 billion yuan was issued for general bonds and 117.6 billion yuan for special bonds; according to the purpose, 84.5 billion yuan of new bonds and 202.2 billion yuan of refinancing bonds were issued. The average issuance period of local government bonds is 14.1 years, including 11.8 years for general bonds and 17.3 years for special bonds; the average issuing interest rate is 3.23%, including 3.10% for general bonds and 3.42% for special bonds.
