SMM: on June 30th, Geely Commercial vehicle Group Co., Ltd. held the delivery ceremony of the first batch of new TX vehicles in China and the launch ceremony of Cao's new product line at the Yiwu base of Geely Commercial vehicle Group Co., Ltd.

The new TX adopts LEVC add-on pure electric drive technology, lightweight all-aluminum body design, mileage of 640km, zero emission capacity, green technology and environmental protection. One of the highlights of this model is the use of lightweight all-aluminum body design, which is the first of its kind in China. Its all-aluminum body, which is mainly developed by Chinalco, has an aluminization rate of 97%. The excellent aluminum structure, coupled with the active and passive safety system, enables the new TX model to meet the world's most stringent vehicle safety requirements while reducing its weight by 30%, which is a milestone for the lightweight aluminum alloy of new energy business vehicles.

It is understood that Chinalco established Geely Project Department in 2016 to develop new TX all-aluminum parts as the goal to carry out automotive lightweight application technology. Through the integration of internal and external resources of Chinalco Group, the project department is organized and coordinated by the Aluminum processing Department, Chinalco Materials Institute is responsible for technical research and development, aluminum processing enterprises such as Southwest Aluminium and Chinalco Ruimin are responsible for material manufacturing, and Zhejiang Chinalco is responsible for parts manufacturing. an efficient collaborative innovation model of "production, marketing and research" has been constructed within Chinalco Group.

The successful implementation of the project has improved Chinalco's lightweight customer service and EVI capabilities, strengthened the strategic partnership between Chinalco and automobile manufacturers, and expanded Chinalco's influence in the automotive lightweight field.
