SMM7 March 7: China Southern rare Earth Group South rare Earth International Trading Co., Ltd. announced the latest medium and heavy rare earth oxide listing prices, a number of rare earth oxide prices increased. In terms of price changes, europium oxide is listed at 260000 yuan / ton, up 20, 000 yuan / ton over the previous period; gadolinium oxide is listed at 179000 yuan / ton, up 1000 yuan / ton; holmium oxide is listed at 430000 yuan / ton, up 10, 000 yuan / ton over the previous period; erbium oxide is listed at 17 yuan / ton, up 15000 yuan / ton over the previous period; lutetium oxide is listed at 4.65 million yuan / ton, up 150000 yuan / ton. The prices of other varieties are the same as the previous period, samarium oxide is listed at 12000 yuan / ton, terbium oxide is listed at 4.7 million yuan / ton, dysprosium oxide is listed at 1.95 million yuan / ton, ytterbium oxide is listed at 100000 yuan / ton, yttrium oxide is listed at 22000 yuan / ton, scandium oxide is listed at 9 million yuan / ton.

Note: following the adjustment of the listing price of medium and heavy rare earth oxides on June 29, southern rare earths raised the listing price of medium and heavy rare earth oxides again on July 1, the details are as follows:

Last week, light rare earths, praseodymium and neodymium oxide prices first continued the previous upward momentum, stable and then fell slightly. The overall trading in the praseodymium-neodymium oxide market is light, and when the previous price rises all the way to the price level of 290000 yuan / ton, the downstream wait-and-see atmosphere is strong, the acceptance of this price is limited, and the market enters the game. From the perspective of market inventory, the overall inventory of the holders, including the separation plant, is not high, so the market begins to consolidate at this price level. As of today, the price of praseodymium and neodymium oxide is 28.9-292000 yuan / ton, little change from last week.

In terms of medium and heavy rare earths, products such as terbium oxide and holmium oxide last week showed eye-catching performance recently. In particular, the price of terbium oxide has continued to rise to the highest level in nearly eight years, the market sentiment has been fully mobilized, and the holders are more confident. At present, the market supply of terbium oxide is relatively tight, coupled with the expected superimposed impact of the collection and storage of medium and heavy rare earths, so this round of rise has a certain solid foundation. Of course, when reaching the current price, some of the holders' quotation and shipping enthusiasm have been improved, appropriate shipping; there are also some businesses are still optimistic about the future, shipping hesitation. As of today, the price of terbium oxide is 4,650 murals 4700 yuan / kg, the average price is the same as last Friday.

Silicon Metal Market Review for January and Outlook for February
In January, the silicon metal market experienced a relatively loose supply-demand balance, with a theoretical inventory buildup of approximately 30,000 mt. In February, both supply and demand contracted simultaneously, and the market is expected to show a tight balance or minor destocking. The current high industry inventory still requires time to be digested, and the sustainability of destocking remains a key variable affecting price trends and market sentiment.

A plant in northern China is calling for bids for indium ingots and bismuth ingots
SMM, February 6 - According to SMM’s investigation of market information, a large smelter in northern China began public bidding for a certain quantity of indium ingots and bismuth ingots starting yesterday. Market sources indicate that the starting price for these indium ingots exceeds 4,000 yuan per kilogram, while the starting price for bismuth ingots is above 150,000 yuan per ton. The bidding results are expected to be announced before the Spring Festival. Market participants note that, given the clear trend of sluggish trading activity ahead of the Spring Festival, the timing of this bidding is not ideal. However, the relatively favorable starting prices have generated considerable market anticipation for the outcome of the bidding.
