At present, the ZLD205A aluminum alloy on the market is mostly produced by casting ingot machine, due to the poor exhaust performance of this forming method, the liquid aluminum is naturally cooled and solidified in the long strip ingot mold, so the ingot contains more gas inside, and the surface has obvious oxidation slag and looseness; at the same time, after remelting, the tensile test bar is cast, its strength can only meet the performance requirements of the national standard GB/T 1173 music 2013, the performance is unstable and can not easily meet the aviation and aerospace standards.
Zhengzhou Light Research adopts the semi-continuous casting process of hot top mold without metal flow drop, the casting process is stable, the aluminum liquid solidifies sequentially, the structural defects such as non-metallic oxide slag and pores are reduced, the purity of the product is greatly improved, and the pinhole degree reaches grade 1; the upper part of the mold has good thermal insulation, allowing lower casting temperature; the microstructure of the casting bar is fine and uniform, the segregation is small, and the internal quality and mechanical properties of the casting bar are significantly improved. After T6 heat treatment, the tensile strength of ZLD205A alloy reaches 505 to 520 MPA, and the elongation is more than 6%, which can effectively meet the needs of high performance materials in aviation, aerospace, shipbuilding, weapons and other military fields. At present, the company can supply Φ 88.5 × 700mm round rods and 80 × 80 × 720mm square rods. ZLD205A alloy has been successfully tested on the new product parts of many military industrial units, such as AVIC and AVIC.
