Nevada Copper is set to restart the Pumpkin Hollow underground mine in mid-August to achieve full production in the fourth quarter.

SMM7 March 7: recently, Nevada Copper has decided to restart the Pumpkin Hollow underground mine in mid-August, and initial production in September and October will be achieved through existing inventories and ore development, and full production is expected in the fourth quarter.

The annual copper equivalent production of the underground mine is expected to reach 6.5 million pounds, with a total maintenance cost of US $1.86 per pound.

The company completed the construction of the Pumpkin Hollow underground mine at the end of 2019 and began preliminary production in the first quarter of 2020. Affected by the epidemic, operations at Nevada Copper's pumpkin hollow underground mine were suspended in early April.
