From July 6 to 24:00, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps reported 8 new confirmed cases, all of which were imported from abroad (2 in Liaoning, 2 in Shanghai, 2 in Sichuan, 1 in Inner Mongolia and 1 in Guangdong). There were no new deaths. There were 2 new suspected cases, all of which were imported from abroad (1 case in Inner Mongolia and 1 case in Shanghai).

SMM: from 0 to 24:00 on July 6, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps reported 8 new confirmed cases, all of which were imported from abroad (2 in Liaoning, 2 in Shanghai, 2 in Sichuan, 1 in Inner Mongolia, and 1 in Guangdong). There were 2 new suspected cases, all of which were imported from abroad (1 case in Inner Mongolia and 1 case in Shanghai).

On the same day, there were 10 new cured and discharged cases, 254 close contacts relieved of medical observation, and one more severe case than the previous day.

There are 72 confirmed cases (no severe cases) and 3 suspected cases imported from abroad. A total of 1942 cases were confirmed, 1870 cases were cured and discharged, and there were no deaths.

As of 24:00 on July 6, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang production and Construction Corps, there were 403 confirmed cases (including 7 severe cases), 78528 cured and discharged cases, and 4634 deaths. A total of 83565 confirmed cases and 7 suspected cases have been reported. A total of 764486 close contacts were tracked and 3940 were still under medical observation.

In 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps, 15 new asymptomatic infections were reported (14 imported from abroad), 2 confirmed cases were converted to confirmed cases on the same day (2 imported from abroad). 8 cases were relieved of medical observation on the same day (7 cases imported abroad); 114 cases of asymptomatic infection were still under medical observation (77 cases imported abroad).

A total of 1780 confirmed cases have been reported from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Among them, 1285 were discharged from the Hong Kong Special Administrative region (1157 discharged and 7 died), 46 from the Macao Special Administrative region (45 discharged from the hospital) and 449 from Taiwan (438 discharged and 7 died).
