Overnight, Lun lead opened at US $1788 / ton. In the Asian session, driven by the strength of commodities, Lun lead fluctuated upward, entering the European period, Lun lead habitually explored, reaching a high of US $1801.5 / ton, followed by a high pressure of US $1800 and a high shock of Lun lead. It finally closed at 1795 US dollars / ton, an increase of 0.56 per cent. Lun lead continues to fluctuate at a high level, and the pressure at the $1800 mark is still high, so we will be concerned about whether it can effectively break through in the short term.

Overnight, Shanghai lead opened at 14710 yuan / tonne. At the beginning of trading, it rebounded quickly after the Shanghai lead detection was low. After reaching 14710 yuan, it fell back under pressure, and finally reported at 14625 yuan / ton, a decline of 0.17%. Shanghai lead closed at 5 consecutive overcast, mainly due to the current poor fundamentals.

As of February 6, 2026, the ex-factory tax-exclusive offers for domestic secondary crude lead stood at 15,250-15,400 yuan/mt. Downstream refined lead and alloy smelters gradually entered the holiday period, showing weak stockpiling willingness. Overseas lead ingot suppliers basically halted transactions with China due to poor consumption in the Chinese market, with only some previously concluded shipments maintaining normal in-transit transportation. The trading atmosphere in the secondary crude lead market will continue to weaken next week.
