A Survey of Import and Export data of basic Metals in the United States in May

SMM: according to data released by the U.S. Department of Commerce, the United States imported 66833938 kilograms of cathode copper in May, up from 73750668 kilograms in April. Imports totaled 304552490 kilograms in the first five months of this year. The United States exported 2284332 kilograms of cathode copper in May, up from 3719057 kilograms in April, with exports totaling 33322105 kilograms in the first five months of this year.

Us aluminium exports were 3751802 kg in May, down from 4280637 kg in April and 22950928 kg in the first five months of this year.

The United States imported 58847677 kilograms of zinc in May, up from 39596624 kilograms in April. Imports totaled 212660805 kilograms in the first five months of this year. The United States exported 283013 kilograms of zinc in May, up from 231989 kilograms in April, with exports totaling 2257693 kilograms in the first five months of this year.

The United States imported 24280388 kilograms of lead in May, down from 36756073 kilograms in April. Imports totaled 143216972 kilograms in the first five months of this year. The United States imported 7048975 kilograms of nickel in May, up from 5965104 kilograms in April. The cumulative import volume from January to May is 37445432 kg. The United States exported 155615 kilograms of nickel in May, up from 108118 kilograms in April. The cumulative export volume from January to May is 1074574 kg.

The United States imported 2538436 kilograms of tin in May, down from 3044874 kilograms in April. Imports totaled 17101787 kilograms in the first five months of this year. Us tin exports were 135056 kg in May, down from 176839 kg in April and 778178 kg in the first five months of this year.
