Health Commission: 3 new confirmed cases are all in Beijing

SMM Network: from 0 to 24:00 on June 30, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps reported 3 new confirmed cases, all local cases (all in Beijing); no new deaths; and 2 new suspected cases, imported from abroad (all in Shanghai).

On the same day, 10 new cases were cured and discharged from hospital, 703 people were in close contact with medical observation, and the severe cases were the same as the day before.

There are 79 confirmed cases (no severe cases) and 3 suspected cases imported from abroad. A total of 1918 cases were confirmed, 1839 cases were cured and discharged, and there were no deaths.

As of 24:00 on June 30, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang production and Construction Corps, there were 421 confirmed cases (including 7 severe cases), a total of 78479 cured and discharged cases, and a cumulative death of 4634 cases. a total of 83534 confirmed cases and 8 suspected cases have been reported. A total of 762744 close contacts were tracked and 6479 were still under medical observation.

31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps reported 3 new cases of asymptomatic infection (3 cases imported from abroad), 1 case turned to be confirmed on the same day (no overseas input), and 1 case was relieved of medical observation on the same day (no overseas input). 100 cases of asymptomatic infection under medical observation (63 cases imported abroad).

A total of 1698 confirmed cases have been reported from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Among them, 1205 cases were discharged from the Hong Kong Special Administrative region (1107 cases were discharged and 7 died), 46 cases were discharged from the Macao Special Administrative region (45 cases were discharged) and 447 cases were discharged from Taiwan (437 cases were discharged and 7 cases died).

Panguna Copper-Gold Mine Camp Attacked, Highlighting Security Risks to Redevelopment

NICICO Puts Iran’s Copper Ore Resources at 24.5bn Tonnes; Exploration Drilling Nears 200,000 Metres

According to Iranian media reports citing Seyed Mostafa Feiz, CEO of the National Iranian Copper Industries Company (NICICO), Iran’s geological copper ore resources rose to 24.5 billion tonnes from 22.2 billion tonnes at the start of the Iranian year, up 10.6%. Mineable (designable) reserves increased to 18.2 billion tonnes from 16.8 billion tonnes, while 198,462 metres of exploration drilling were completed in the first five months—about 40% of the 500,000-metre full-year target. At Miduk, mineable reserves rose 123% to 1.77 billion tonnes and geological resources increased 186% to 2.883 billion tonnes. The Sarcheshmeh cluster’s mineable reserves reached 7.7 billion tonnes at an average grade of 0.41%, with the mine’s operating permit extended through Iranian year 1429 (around 2050–51). Total material extracted during the period exceeded 153 million tonnes, up about 4% year on year; this figure includes sulphide ore, oxide material and waste rock, and is not copper production. The expanded resource and reserve base supports Iran’s longer-term development potential, but does not imply an immediate increase in supply.
