Primary lead smelters operating rates unchanged at 52.7%

SHANGHAI, Jun 24 (SMM) – Operating rates across primary lead smelters in Henan, Hunan and Yunnan provinces averaged 52.7% between June 22-24, barely changed from the previous week, showed an SMM survey.

The respective operating rates in Henan, Yunnan and Hunan all remained unchanged, standing at 62.9%, 38% and 45%, respectively.

Steady ore supply enabled smelters to maintain stable operations, and Hunan Jingui has postponed its maintenance plan to end-June.
