At present, the full operation of the Atlantic Nickel:Santa Rita nickel mine has completed the shipment ahead of schedule.

SMM6 March 3: recently, Atlantic Nickel said that the Santa Rita mine in Brazil completed the first shipment in early January and the second and third shipments ahead of schedule by the end of the first quarter.

The Santa Rita mine, one of the largest open-pit nickel sulphide mines in the world, is still in full operation with limited disruption to the supply chain.

To date, the company has produced more than 30000 tons of nickel concentrate since its restart and is expected to increase to 105000 tons by the end of 2020.

Previously, cheap nickel, Santa Rita ceased operations in 2015, and plans to restart the mine were launched when Appian Capital, a consultancy that supports Atlantic Nickel, bought the nickel business through bankruptcy proceedings in 2018.
