SHANGHAI, Jun 3 (SMM) – About 175,000 heavy trucks are estimated to have been sold in China last month, jumping 62% from the same month of 2019, cvworld.cn. reported on Tuesday.
That took the tally for the first five months of 2020 exceeding 640,000 units, up 16% from the same period last year.
May’s sales slipped 8.5% from April, when China’s heavy truck sales hit a record high of 191,200 units.
The sales surged 61% year on year in April, recovering from a 19% decline in March.
