SMM5, March 30: Chile's manufacturing output fell 5.9% year-on-year in April due to the epidemic, according to data released on Friday.

The economic impact of the blockade measures taken as a result of the epidemic on the world's largest copper producer has been highlighted.

However, Chilean copper production rose 2.8 per cent in April from a year earlier to 474880 tonnes.
