Nickel ore inventories at Chinese ports fell 300,000 wmt on week

Nickel ore inventories across all Chinese ports continued to fall this week, decreasing 300,000 wmt from a week earlier to 7.85 million wmt as of Friday May 29, showed SMM data.

SHANGHAI, May 29 (SMM) – Nickel ore inventories across all Chinese ports continued to fall this week, decreasing 300,000 wmt from a week earlier to 7.85 million wmt as of Friday May 29, showed SMM data.

 

This came after a decline of 100,000 wmt in the prior week.

 

In metal content, the stocks fell 2,500 mt this week to 64,200 mt.

 

SMM data also showed that nickel ore stocks across seven major Chinese ports declined 230,000 wmt this week to 6.77 million wmt.
