[SMM investigation] low-cost waste batteries are in short supply. Weekly operating rate of recycled lead is 48.8%.

According to a survey by Shanghai Nonferrous Network (SMM), this week (May 23-May 29) the weekly operating rate of SMM recycled lead smelters in the four provinces was 48.8%, down 0.8% from last week.

Among them, the operating rate of Jiangsu recycled lead licensed smelting enterprises is 53.3%, and that of Anhui recycled lead licensed smelting enterprises is 45.2%, which is the same as that of last week. Affected by the shortage of waste battery supply, the operating rate of recycled lead enterprises in the two places is difficult to fluctuate significantly; the operating rate of Henan recycled lead licensed smelting enterprises is 60.8%, which is 15.3% higher than last week. Because Jiyuan Jinli opened one more production line, daily production capacity doubled. The operating rate of licensed smelting enterprises of recycled lead in Guizhou was 36.7%, down 21.4% from last week, mainly due to environmental protection inspection by the Guizhou Provincial Department in Guizhou area, local recycled lead enterprises suspended production for 2mi for three days, and some enterprises were overhauled.
