SMM5 March 22: although the copper pole processing fees have increased on Wednesday, but the increase varies from place to place. According to our SMM survey, the processing fee for poles used in Guangdong 8mm electric power industry was 630mur750 yuan / ton on Friday, an average price of 5 yuan / ton higher than that of last Friday. It is worth noting that the water price of electrolytic copper in Guangdong this week is 120 yuan / ton higher than that of last Friday, but the processing fee of copper rod is only slightly higher. There are two main reasons for this: 1: the order of cable factory in Guangdong is lower than before, and some cable factories are even worried about the shortage of orders in June. 2. Recently, the price difference of fine waste is relatively large, and the processing fee of waste copper rod is relatively low. in recent two weeks, the processing fee of waste copper rod in Guangdong is only 100 won 200 yuan / ton, so electrolytic copper rod enterprises do not dare to raise the price by a large margin. The processing fee for poles used in East China 8mm power industry is 700mur780 yuan / ton, the average price is 115 yuan / ton higher than last Friday, which is similar to the increase of electrolytic copper. The order of cable enterprises in East China is still good, and there is not much supply of waste copper poles in the region, which is the main reason for the strong prices in the region. The processing fee of 8mm power pole in North China is 700mur800 yuan / ton, which is 50 yuan / ton higher than last Friday. It is understood that the recent cable consumption in North China also shows signs of weakening, but due to the large increase in the rising water of electrolytic copper, the processing fee of electrolytic copper rod in North China has also increased to a certain extent this week. As we are about to enter June, we need to pay close attention to the consumption of the cable industry in East China. Once it weakens, the consumption of copper rods in most parts of the country will also decline significantly.
