Aluminum prices fell 300 yuan / ton today, falling sharply from their highs. In this context, the overall price of waste aluminum fell slightly, down 100 yuan / ton. Scrap aluminum yard shipments are still active, some traders due to a sharp drop in aluminum prices, today only accept discount spot prices. It is expected that as aluminum prices fall, the willingness of scrap aluminum holders to ship goods will continue to increase.

Price of SMM aluminum alloy ADC12 on May 22nd
The price of the recycling factory fell slightly as a whole. Domestic prices, the mainstream large recycled aluminum enterprises quoted a decline of 100 yuan / ton, concentrated in 13,200 yuan / ton 13,300 yuan / ton. The cash price quoted by enterprises using imported waste aluminum has been reduced to around 13000 yuan / ton. due to market feedback, the inventory of imported waste has gradually reduced, and the market ultra-low price has disappeared. For small and medium-sized plants, the price of a recycled aluminum plant in Jiangxi dropped by 100 yuan / ton, while almost all small and medium-sized factories and traders dropped 100 yuan / ton smoothly to 12900 million yuan / ton. At present, the overall price of ADC12 is similar to that of the same period last year. Although automobile consumption data rose in April compared with the same period last year, first, the base of automobile sales data last year was low, and second, the caliber of association sales data was factory rather than terminal sales, so it still takes time for its feedback to recycled aluminum enterprises to improve consumption only from marginal changes. In terms of import and export, due to the current lack of overseas demand, a small amount of ADC12CIF was exported to Japan at a price of around US $1450 / ton. The offer for imported ADC12 is still active, and the current quotation for imported Ningbo ADC12CIF (non-tariff country) remains at 1500-1580 US dollars / ton.
