[SMM data] SMM May 18: according to SMM, as of Monday, the total inventory of SMM seven zinc ingots was 227700 tons, an increase of 400tons from last Friday, and a decrease of 9900 tons from last Monday.

SMM5 March 18: according to SMM, as of Monday, the total inventory of SMM zinc ingots in Seven places was 227700 tons, an increase of 400tons compared with last Friday, and a decrease of 9900 tons compared with last Monday.

Inventory recorded a small increase over the weekend, mainly due to the concentrated arrival of goods in Tianjin and Hebei, some sources of goods in eastern China were shipped to Tianjin and concentrated in the warehouse at the weekend, superimposed on Friday, enterprises in the lower reaches of North China were less willing to take goods, and the overall exit of the warehouse was more limited. The decline was recorded in Shanghai and Guangdong, mainly due to the strong de-storage efforts in Shanghai and limited storage in Guangdong. Overall, the original inventory in Shanghai, Guangdong and Tianjin increased by 300 tons, while the inventory in seven places across the country increased by 400 tons.

Jan-Feb Die-Casting Zinc Alloy Exports Up Slightly YoY, Backed by Southeast Asia

According to the latest customs data, China’s total exports of die-casting zinc alloy from January to February reached 689.33 mt, up slightly by 0.9 percentage points YoY on a cumulative basis; imports, however, totaled 48.11 million mt, down 35.46 percentage points YoY on a cumulative basis. Overall, China’s die-casting zinc alloy trade from January to February showed a pattern of slightly higher exports and a significant pullback in imports.
