SMM5 March 15:

This week, most of the prices of rare earth products are on the rise. The prices of rare earth products in the listing prices announced within the Northern rare Earth week are mixed, and the overall inquiry situation of praseodymium and neodymium oxide in the market at the beginning of the week is still good. The downstream inquiry is actively upstream. The price of praseodymium and neodymium oxide has risen, and then the overall price of praseodymium and neodymium oxide market has dropped. On Friday, praseodymium and neodymium oxide quoted 27-272000 yuan / ton. There is actually a low supply of goods in the market. In the aspect of medium and heavy rare earths, affected by the relatively weak market transaction and the strong quotation of large factories at the beginning of the week, the price of dysprosium oxide remained relatively stable at the beginning of the week, and the price of terbium oxide declined. Then the market inquiry situation gradually, the upstream business quotation is relatively strong, dysprosium oxide and terbium oxide prices up, dysprosium oxide 178-1.8 million yuan / ton, terbium oxide 388-3.92 million yuan / ton.

SMM believes that the recent price fluctuations of rare earth products are mainly caused by market demand. The recent market demand of light rare earth praseodymium and neodymium products shows signs of falling back due to high prices, but the possibility of a sharp decline in the near future is limited because of its relatively low point. It is expected that the price of praseodymium and neodymium may be weak and stable in the short term. The market inquiry of medium and heavy rare earths is relatively active in the near future. It is expected that the prices of medium and heavy rare earths such as dysprosium oxide and terbium oxide will be supported in the short term, and the operation may be relatively strong in the short term.
