SMM5, March 15 (Xinhua) Australian Mining Co., Ltd. recently identified 14 new nickel and cobalt prospecting targets in and near the flagship Sconi Cobalt Nickel Scan project in northern Queensland.

The independent review of SRK Consulting reassessed the existing AUZ drilling data and digital map data and analyzed and identified other nickel, cobalt and scan mineralization targets within the scope of the company's existing mining rights and in the vicinity of Sconi's current mining rights.

Benjamin Bell, Managing Director, said that while our main focus remains on ensuring binding off-take and financing agreements for our world-class Sconi project, there is still a lot we can do to add more value to the project.

He said that the discovery of new nickel and cobalt targets from a study commissioned by SRK Consulting, an international mining expert, was a very positive development, indicating that there is still untapped nickel and cobalt potential in and around the current Sconi mining rights plan for the Australian mining industry.
