SHANGHAI, May 15 (SMM) – Social inventories of copper cathode in south China’s Guangdong province extended their slide on the week as of May 15, but the decline slowed from a week ago.
SMM data showed that social inventories of copper cathode at major warehouses in Guangdong stood at 29,229 mt as of May 15, down 4,416 mt from Friday May 8, marking the 10th consecutive week of decline.
The stocks shrank 5,294 mt week on week to 33,645 mt as of May 8.
