SMM May 12: today's silicon prices vary, East China oxygen 55 million silicon prices jumped to 11000 yuan / ton, due to the supply of small factories continue to raise the price, East China 330 million silicon downstream receiving price in the vicinity of 11500 yuan / ton, the price difference between the two specifications narrowed from about 1100 yuan / ton at the beginning of April to the current 11000 yuan / ton. The supply of high and low grade is quite different, in contrast, the supply of high-grade silicon is more and more sensitive to the weakening of export demand, coupled with downstream cost reduction procurement and other reasons, resulting in light transaction of high-grade silicon.
