The price of electrolytic copper rods has fallen this week, with the exception of eastern China, where processing fees for electrolytic copper rods have fallen this week, with the exception of eastern China, where processing fees for scrap copper rods have fallen, with the exception of eastern China. According to SMM research, this Friday (May 8) Guangdong 8mm power industry pole processing fee reported 720-780 yuan / ton, the average price fell 55 yuan / ton compared with last Friday; Although Guangdong electrolytic copper rose 30 yuan / ton this week compared with last Thursday, copper rod processing fees did not follow suit, mainly due to the increase in the supply of scrap copper rods and lower prices. The processing fees for scrap copper rods before the festival were reported at 500-600 yuan / tonne. This week, it fell further to 300-400 yuan / tonne. In the face of menacing scrap copper rods, electrolytic copper rod enterprises can only reduce prices to protect the market. East China 8mm power industry pole processing fee of 650,800 yuan / ton, the same as last Friday; thanks to the strong consumption of cable enterprises in East China, the supply of copper poles in East China is still tight, coupled with the inflow of scrap copper poles, which is the main reason for the strong prices in the region. The pole processing fee for the 8mm power industry in North China was 800-900 yuan / ton, down 50 yuan / ton from last Friday, the second consecutive week of decline. Due to the high processing fees of copper rods in North China, which led to increased shipments in various places, the tension of copper rods in North China has been alleviated. In addition, the increase in the supply of waste copper rods is also one of the reasons for the lower prices of electrolytic copper rods in North China.
