Nickel ore inventories at Chinese ports dropped 347,000 wmt on week

Nickel ore inventories across all Chinese ports continued to fall sharply this week, decreasing 347,000 wmt from last Friday April 24 to 8.85 million wmt as of Thursday April 30, showed SMM data.

SHANGHAI, Apr 30 (SMM) – Nickel ore inventories across all Chinese ports continued to fall sharply this week, decreasing 347,000 wmt from last Friday April 24 to 8.85 million wmt as of Thursday April 30, showed SMM data.

 

This came after a decline of 302,200 wmt in the week ended April 24.

 

In metal content, the stocks fell 3,000 mt this week to 72,800 mt.

 

SMM data also showed that nickel ore stocks across seven major Chinese ports declined 250,000 wmt this week to 7.56 million wmt.
