Weiqiao to lower benchmark prebaked anode purchasing price for May

Shandong Weiqiao Group, the top aluminium producer in China, has lowered its benchmark prebaked anode purchasing price for May, by 130 yuan/mt to 2,530 yuan/mt in cash.

SHANGHAI, Apr 30 (SMM) – Shandong Weiqiao Group, the top aluminium producer in China, has lowered its benchmark prebaked anode purchasing price for May, by 130 yuan/mt to 2,530 yuan/mt in cash.

This marks the second straight month for Weiqiao to cut its prebaked anode purchasing prices, following a cut of 170 yuan/mt for April.
