Ningbo Shanshan began construction of 45,000 mt/year lithium salt project in Hunan

SHANGHAI, Apr 29 (SMM) – The construction of a 45,000 mt/year lithium salt production project, invested by Ningbo Shanshan via a subsidiary Yongshan Lithium, commenced on April 29 at the Tongguan Industrial Park, Hunan province. 

With an investment of 2 billion yuan, the project is designed to assist Ningbo Shanshan to become an international lithium salt supplier with high-quality products and low costs.

Phase-one project is designed with an annualised capacity of 15,000 mt of lithium hydroxide and 10,000 mt of lithium carbonate. Full operation of the second phase of the project is expected to bring about an output value of 3.3 billion yuan per year.
