SHFE, DCE, ZCE to resume night trading from May 6

The Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE), Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) and Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (ZCE) said Friday that they will resume night trading starting Wednesday May 6, the first trading day after the five-day Labour Day holiday.

SHANGHAI, Apr 24 (SMM) – The Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE), Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) and Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (ZCE) said Friday that they will resume night trading starting Wednesday May 6, the first trading day after the five-day Labour Day holiday.

Night trading on the three exchanges of bulk commodities, has been suspended since February 3, the first trading day after the Lunar New Year holiday, to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

SHANGHAI, Mar 29 (SMM) - In accordance with the DCE Risk Management Regulations, the Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) has decided to raise the margins of 2205 and 2209 iron ore futures contracts for speculative trading from 12% to 15% while keeping the daily price upside and downside limits, as well as the margins for hedging business unchanged at 10%, effective from the settlement on March 30, 2022.
