[SMM data] according to SMM, as of Monday (April 20), the total inventory of zinc ingots in Seven places was 265600 tons, down 6600 tons from last Friday (April 17) and 18000 tons from Monday (April 13).

SMM4, April 20: according to SMM, as of Monday (April 20), the total inventory of zinc ingots in SMM Seven places was 265600 tons, down 6600 tons from last Friday (April 17) and 18000 tons from last Monday (April 13).

Last weekend, the depot was mainly concentrated in Guangdong and Tianjin, on the whole, the situation in Guangdong was better. On the one hand, some of the goods were sent to Zhejiang and Fujian, on the other hand, some alloy factories in Hunan bought more goods in Guangdong, which led to a substantial reduction in warehouses as a whole. Tianjin area last Friday downstream replenishment situation is better, driven out of the warehouse. Shanghai area arrival is normal, downstream just need to buy, in and out offset recorded a small increase. Overall, inventories in Shanghai, Guangdong and Tianjin fell by 6700 tons, while inventories in seven places nationwide fell by 6600 tons.

August Zinc Oxide Import & Export Analysis: Exports Shine, Vietnam Remains the Core Export Destination

According to the latest customs data, China imported 399.73 tonnes of zinc oxide in August, up 70.73% month-on-month (MoM) and 2.53% year-on-year (YoY). Cumulative imports from January to August reached 3,895.56 tonnes, up 4.31% YoY. China exported 1,982.38 tonnes of zinc oxide in August, up 30.06% MoM and 60.20% YoY. Cumulative exports from January to August totaled 14,250.04 tonnes, up 52.09% YoY.
